Bridal boudoir sessions are more popular than ever! Why do you think that is?

Brides are looking for a more unique gifts and men are sometimes quite hard to buy for. What better than super sexy image of yourself with a little note saying ‘meet me at the altar….’ Its also a gift that you benefit from too, as you get to be pampered and have the experience of the shoot, which is very liberating a huge confidence boost! We are also a lot of fun for hen parties!

We are an all female team with a dedicated studio and we understand what matters to women. There is immaculate attention to detail giving very flattering results and its a huge confidence boost too! What can I expect when I come for a FYEO Portraits session?
.
You will be welcomed into the studio and we will pop the kettle on and have a chat about why you are doing the shoot, and any worries you may have. Then we will take you through to the make up room, and do your make up for you. This may be a bit heavier than you would normally wear, but we know what looks great under the studio lights. Once that’s done, we will take you through to the studio and have a look at what things you have brought with you so that the photographer can start to style the shoot for you. Then the shoot starts and we ease you into it with careful directions about how to stand / where to look etc.

Who will be taking the pictures?
.
One of our female photographers will be doing your shoot – in Newcastle, probably either myself or Karen. We have both been shooting boudoir for some time now, and are very experienced at showing women in their best light and putting you at ease – we both have our own body hang ups – so we know what you are going through!

I’m not a perfect 10, does it matter?
.
No of course it doesn’t matter!! Who is a perfect size 10 anyway!! We have already had a lady come for a shoot 6 weeks after giving birth! She looked amazing! Its all about flattering poses and finding that inner confidence, which we help you with.

I’m a bit nervous and not sure if it’s right for me…
.
EVERYONE is nervous! It would be strange not to be a bit nervous! Its not the kind of thing you do every day! Once you have had the first couple of shots taken you will relax into it – and enjoy the shoot – promise!

I want to feel fabulous in my pictures, what can I do to make the pictures the best that they can be?
.
Think about some body pampering before the shoot – it doesn’t have to be expensive – simply exfoliating / moisturising. Do whatever makes you feel good – if that’s a manicure or a spray tan then do it – but its not essential. Then once at the studio do everything the photographer asks you to do! The poses may feel strange – but boy do they work!

Do I need to buy expensive new lingerie?
.
No, not at all – a couple of sets of nice lingerie is all that is required. The most important thing to bring with you is probably a pair of high heels! It makes a huge difference to how you feel in the shoot! DONT FORGET THEM!!! We have a huge selection of accessories you can use if you want to – jewellery, scarves, hats! Even a Union Jack….

Have you ever posed for a FYEO Portraits session?
.
Yes of course, all the staff at FYEO Portraits have had their own shoot done. Its vital that we have all experienced a shoot as a client would do. I was no different to anyone else – I worried about the shoot beforehand, kicked myself for not doing sit ups every day for the month before! But I actually really enjoyed the shoot, and discovered that I actually liked bits of my body that I thought I didn’t!! We will have images from our shoots on display at the studio soon, so we will be able to show clients the results.

I am worried about privacy – what happens to the photographs after the shoot?
.
The images are edited in the Newcastle studio by the photographer who did your shoot, and are then uploaded to your private, password protected gallery. Once you make your choices from the gallery, the order is dealt with by our Head Office in High Wycombe via a secure connection. Again this is staffed by an all female team, so the only man to see your images is the one you choose to show them to!

Can you give me and idea on price, what are your packages?
.
Our shoots start at £99 for a "mid week mini shoot". This lasts an hour and you will receive your favourite image by email. You can then choose to add more images to your package, or have a longer shoot with more outfit changes etc. We can supply albums for your images. There’s a huge amount of choice and we try to cater for all budgets.

What do I take away with me after a session?
.
On the day of the shoot you will walk away with a huge smile and sense of self confidence!! Within 3-5 days your images will be online for you to view.

What sets FYEO Portraits apart from other boudoir photographers?

The fact that we are all women, that the studios are dedicated to boudoir shoots, and that we have perfected the art of flattering, body sculpting poses by trying them out ourselves on all of our different body shapes!! The shoots are approached from a feminine point of view.

We now have studios located in Newcastle, Manchester, HIgh Wycombe, Tonbridge Wells, Chelmsford & Taunton.

All the pricing information is there, and you can book through the website too.
