You may have noticed that there was a Bloggers Day of Silence on 18 March 2011, to raise money in aid of the terrible crisis following the Tsunami in Japan.

You can see the post here.

Lucia, from Utterly Engaged, who launched the campaign, emailed Brides Up North this week.  She said:

The response "For Japan With Love" has been overwhelmingly amazing! We could not have asked for more.  We, at Utterly Engaged, truly appreciate all the support and love.  Thank you ever so much for being a part of the Bloggers Day of Silence. Because of the Day of Silence we were able to to raise $50,000 to have 50 Shelter Boxes help 500 people in Japan and other disaster areas. And you played a huge part in
making this happen! As of today, we are at $60,297!

.

Wow! A huge well done to each and every one of you that clicked through my link and donated to ShelterBox.

.

Thing is, Japan still needs your love.  Utterly Engaged has created one more last campaign to raise awareness on 30 – 31 March 2011.
