“This is amazing. This is mad. Gosh!” Words, according to the lip readers, spoken by the new Duchess of Cambridge to her handsome Prince whilst travelling down the Mall on Friday. Brides Up North doesn’t think she could have put it better. What a celebration, what a dress, what a wedding!
.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the action, switching on at 8am to see the guests arriving at the Abbey and staying tuned right through until the final kiss and fly by. I adored rating the outfits, seeing the crowds and marvelling at a moment in history, but (being nosy) what I most enjoyed was a game of “fill in the blanks” whilst sipping my bucks fizz.
.
Obviously, the lip readers were out in force to capture the newly weds’ first words to one another. I love it! Tidbits like Harry’s excited comment to his brother “Just wait till you see her!”, the Prince’s “You look beautiful” declaration to Kate and William’s aside to Mr Middleton that “We were supposed to have just a small family affair” added a new layer of personality to the proceedings.
.
Brides Up North wondered how to report the Royal Wedding here on the blog, as no doubt would have seen countless recollections of the day, the dress, the outfits and the intrigue all over the press by now. One thing Brides Up North doesn’t like to do is bore and rehash old news. So I thought I would have some fun instead.
.
So without further ado, my lords, ladies and gentlemen, the Brides Up North Alternative Lip Reading Theories. Good for a giggle with your morning cuppa I hope.
