Ok, I’ll admit it. In theory, I’m a sucker for anything a bit princessy, but when I heard that Alfred Angelo had launched a Disney Collection of Bridal gowns, I didn’t expect to like them all that much. As gorgeous as AA’s gowns are (and have you checked out their fabulous bridesmaids’ range?) I expected ruffles, too pink and saccharine sweet. How wrong I was.

Not only is today’s eye candy totally cool (because anything “Disney” is very very cool, in my opinion), but these gowns are completely stunning too. Granted, there are ruffles. Granted, the dresses seem sugar spun. But sickly this Eye Candy is not.

I reckon the collection could only be improved by adding a Minnie Mouse inspired prom number, but hear me Brides Up North: this generation’s little girls are going to grow up a very stylish bunch if this is what is inspiring their dressing up boxes.
