Speaking of cake, Brides Up North Featured Supplier, Little Town Bakery, got in touch this week to tell Brides Up North about a special offer available until the end of August. You can order a fabulous giant cupcake for £30 instead of £35. These brilliant cakes are available in vanilla and chocolate and can be designed to any theme from engagements to hen parties or even a groom’s cake. They look great as the top tier cake for a cupcake tower as well.

Someone who could probably for with eating a few giant cupcakes right now is the lovely Duchess of Cambridge. For those of you who were fully caught up in Royal Wedding fever (who wasn’t?!), you can now get a little bit closer to the fashion at the centre of it all. The Duchess formerly known as Kate Middleton’s bridal gown is open to public viewing at Bucks House from today until 3 October 2011. I’m in the Capital soon on exciting Brides Up North business and will definitely be popping in (even if the Queen does think it looks a bit “creepy”!).
