Manchester based wedding photographer and friend of the wedding blog Tobiah Tayo sent Brides Up North this absolutely beautiful castle wedding which took place just over a month ago to share today. Tobiah tells the tale: The wedding was held at Peckforton Castle on 1 July 2011. Peckforton Castle was victim of an arson attack just two weeks before the wedding which nearly meant the venue had to be moved! You can imagine how stressful that was!

Fortunately Sylvia and Dave could still use the castle for the ceremony and relocated to a marquee for the evening reception. It was a wonderful day.
