Often, my bridal blog readers tell me that when it comes to wedding hair, long locks or a bridal up-do was the only ‘do that they considered, even if their hair had never made it past shoulder length before. I was guilty of this myself (by the way, if you are dead set on this, in my experience only three things help to grow long hair fast: the right vitamin supplements, deep conditioning masques and regular (but very well spaced out) trims) and I know lots of you out there are busy madly growing your tresses for your big day.

If the thing you are most looking forward to after the wedding isn’t your honeymoon, but instead a trip to the hairdressers to get it all cut off again, have a word with yourself. I implore you.
