A bride who is passionate about her wedding, who cares about the quality of her invitations and wants to personalise her big day from save the dates through to the ceremony and celebration. We would create a contemporary design, that reflects the couple’s love for another and will be immediately recognized as being sent from them by friends and family.

What would be your top five tips for Brides Up North when choosing their wedding stationery?

1) Decide on style of wedding and chose wedding stationery accordingly.

2) Do you want to colour theme your stationery to the wedding?
.
3) Order a sample of the product to check the quality and finish.

4) Decide on the wording that you would like in the invitation – remember weddings are personal to you and your partner, so you don’t always have to follow etiquette wording. Instead use something that shows the personality of your relationships.

5) Make sure you order the invitations in enough time to send out to your guests, and give them enough time to reply. Sending a matching RSVP card with your invitation makes it easy for your guests.

What would be your absolute ‘no nos’ for Brides Up North when choosing their wedding stationery?

Don’t make you invitations completely from scratch at home. This can be extremely time consuming and with finding a venue, choosing your dress, planning your menu and everything else, that extra time could make all the difference. Instead, if you do want to make invitations at home, try a make your own range, that way everything is cut out for you and ready to put in place, taking you less time and still giving you that home made look and feel.

Does all the stationery have to match?

That’s individual to each bride. Some brides want all their stationery matching from their day invitation right through to their thank you cards. But many brides like lots of different styles and designs of stationery and don’t want to limit themselves to one design. We have options to suit both.

What are your prices and are you doing any special offers?

Our prices start from around £36 for 50 invitations to £87 for 50 invitations – depending on the style and quality you want. So there’s something for every budget.

Our new ranges of pockets invitations include the RSVP in the design. Seal and send invitations are also very good value at £35 for 50, which includes the wedding invitation and the RSVP card.
