I was up with the proverbial lark this morning – and a lark it wasn’t, trust me! – and straight onto the early train heading South (why are the lyrics from Don’t Stop Believin’ now running through my head? Lack of sleep?). I’m off to London to partake in a photo shoot and interview for Fabulous Magazine all about the rapid growth of my Brides Up North blog, brand and business and let more more people know all about the Northern Revolution. Whoop!

Full behind the scenes blog post and links to the subsequent mag feature coming soon, but I just can’t wait to be primped and preened and made to look pretty. The lovely Katie from Fabulous rang me earlier this week to check if I minded having my nails done. Did she really need to ask?! These keyboard bashed digits are crying out for some t.l.c. So despite the early morning call, I’m in high spirits as I navigate London to find the studio and base for the day. Bring on the blusher!

Sarah of Leafy Couture says: So I thought I would share something bright and fabulous for July’s bouquet. I adore the textures we used in this bouquet, the delicate camomile daisies, the vibrant vuvuzela blowsy roses, hot pink peonies for added texture and scent, bright yellow crespedia (or "billy balls" for a touch of fun and very popular at the moment). Fresh seasonal lavender sprigs and lime green achemilla mollis add a softness and calming scent. I love it, it’s full, whimsical and fabulous. We finished the bouquet with a lace trim to bind the stems.

It would suit a laid back relaxed wedding in the country and would be ideal complimented by bright bridesmaids dresses. It would compliment a mixture of colour schemes and dress colours from navy to peach. You could accessorize with a few of the blooms in your bridesmaids’ hair to match. Buttonholes of crespedia and lavender would work really well to compliment this bouquet.
