The theme we chose was centred around the Sophia Coppola film ,Marie Antionette,. The styling of the film was of luxury and opulent excess under Louis 16th and his indulged bride Marie Antoinette. At this time of austerity the idea of such indulgence with a limited budget will appeal to brides. We shot on location at The Liverpool Town Hall, a grade 2 listed building which is a popular venue for weddings and civil ceremonies.

The two companies combined to form ‘Buttons & Roses Events’ specialising in ‘crafternoon tea’ parties aimed at hens and unique brides who a looking for alternative entertainment for their big day. Book a hen party and you and your party will receive afternoon tea (any time of the day) including a full menu of food including finger sandwiches and decorated cupcakes.

Hen party workshops include: button & brooch bouquets, button holes, fascinators & hair accessories, wedding stationary & favours, frilly knickers and garters, crockery painting, cupcake decorating and sweet trees. All workshops will work with the colour schemes and themes of your big day and will be professionally taught to ensure you receive a product fit for your big day. We can come to you in the comfort of your own home or chosen party venue style & decorate the party with props to suit.
