This last week has been crazy town.
And god, do my feet hurt. Memo to self: buy some flat shoes woman!
It’s been a total whirlwind, with four stunning Brides Up North Luxury Wedding Exhibitions in Leeds, Northumberland, Knaresborough and Richmond under our bejewelled belts (that’s almost 200 of the most talent wedding suppliers in the North right there for the taking), and four train journeys back and forth from the ol’smoke, to attend not only the Cosmpolitan Blog Awards last Tuesday – nominated in the Best Wedding Blog category – and Wedding Magazine’s Wedding Blog Awards on Friday at The Savoy.
Yes. That was just in the last week.
Rachel and the Leafy Couture girls will testify, I almost needed to be dragged from The Savoy kicking and screaming. I’ve found my own personal piece of heaven, right there.
It has been absolutely amazing.
The Brides Up North team had an absolute ball catching up with all our blogger friends and the lovelies at Wedding Magazine, fangirled presenter Mark Francis of Made In Chelsea for the second year running (“The North, what’s that, dahlings?”), sipped way too much Savoy champagne – but balanced it with copious canapes and cupcakes – and took home a
highly commended
prize in the Best City Blog category.We’ll take that, thank you very much!
Thank you to each and every one of you who voted for Brides Up North and show such immense support of the blog and brand both online and at our inspirational wedding events. We couldn’t do it without you.
Today, I am taking a day off, putting my feet up (maybe) and hanging out with my little girl (definitely), leaving you with a selection of iPhone candids from what was a truly fabulous Friday night.
