Let’s not forget what this blog is all about…wedding shoes? dresses? diamond rings?

Whether you are hoping he’ll pop the question soon, needing some quality time away from wedding planning or wanting to remember what being a newlywed is really about (and it’s not writing thank you letters, let me tell you!), check back every Thursday night until 14th February for my delicious dinners a deux!

First up, an adorable eaterie on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile: the multiple award winning The Witchery by the Castle.

This is a wonderfully decadent setting, for a very romantic evening. Granted, it’s not cheap, but it’s very very special. The best bit? You can stay the night"! (It’s a 5* hotel boutique hotel too)! In gloriously gothic surroundings, you will want to luxuriate and even be a little bit naughty! Dannii Minogue even described it as “the perfect lust den”!
