I had tried to fight the flashbacks to childhood birthday party anxiety: “What if nobody wants to come?” “What if nobody likes meeeeee?” but had still allowed the devil on my shoulder to conjure up mental images of me, my mum and a venue’s events manager trying to comfort eat our way through buckets of cold coffee and heaps of left out too long nibbles.

Well, it turns out that you lovely wedding industry folk (and friendly brides to be!) have proved me wrong! You like me! You like my wedding blog! You like a good chat over cupcakes and canapes! You love the odd glass of fizz! And you are PROUD to represent (or want to meet) the best wedding industry talent that the North has to offer. Which is what the Brides Up North wedding blog is all about.
