Becky from A Grand Day contacted Brides Up North via Twitter to ask me to share the details of a charity ball that she is organising with her colleagues: The Bride’s Ball. Since it’s for a great cause – and it’s a really fun concept – I agreed to share the details on the wedding blog.

I’ll also be going along on Friday 30 September at 7:30pm (Rockliffe Hall just happens to be a favourite venue of mine – have you tried their brand new spa?) to meet all you aspiring Brides to Be and newly weds. It’s going to be a fun evening.

The only rule is the dress code. It’s wedding gowns only. With prizes for old, new, borrowed and bijou dresses, I have a feeling that there shall be a lot of Cinderellas going to this ball. And it’s carriages at midnight – how apt!
