Yesterday Didsbury House Hotel hosted the first ever Brides Up North Tweet Up wedding industry networking event with Wedding Ideas Magazine. What an amazing, chilled and relaxed night it was, and in such beautiful surroundings! Thank you so much to so many of you for turning out to support the event! I am blown away.

Yes Didsbury House offers twenty three bedrooms and four suites varying in size and style. Each room offers comfort and style ranging from the bijou snug Classic to the more popular and larger Terrace, Eclectic and Duplex rooms, whilst a more indulgent guests may choose to stay in our Duplex Junior Suite or Loft Suites.

Can you give Brides Up North an idea on price for your wedding packages?
.
Its very difficult to cost a wedding without going into individual requirements but to hire the hotel exclusively with all 27 bedrooms on a bed and breakfast basis starts from £5000. We then allow the bride and groom to “sell” these rooms onto their guests for whatever price they choose. This money comes off your £5000 and from then on we tailor the catering requirements around your needs.

We have a wide range of menus to suit everybody’s tastes and are happy to adapt them to meet peoples needs. We offer afternoon teas, canapés, sit down meals, BBQs, Hog roasts, buffets midnight snacks and the bowl food concept.

Have you got any special wedding events or open days coming up?

The weekend of October 29th & 30th 2011 we will be exhibiting our 3 hotels Didsbury House Hotel, Eleven Didsbury Park and Great John Street Hotel at Manchester Central (formerly GMex) and the weekend of 10th & 11th March 2012 we will be exhibiting at Event City (next to The Trafford Centre).
