The brainchild of wedding blog Featured Supplier Gina Griffiths of By Gina Jewellery, Social Sirens is a Calendar Girls style charity calendar supporting The Blue Lamp Foundation and Help For Heroes. Most of the models are girls working in the wedding industry, who bravely volunteered to get their kit off and take part in a boudoir inspired shoot for these wonderful causes.

Gina says: The idea of the calendar all started as a bit of a joke one night on Twitter with a few people discussing how to make their millions. Then someone mentioned the Calendar Girls movie and the story of the WI ladies who produced a calendar. Within 10 minutes it was clear that people were interested in the idea and the hash tag #TwitterGirlsCharityCalendar was soon trending fairly. It was clear that the amount of interested people would mean that the idea could become a reality.

The plan was to create a cheeky boudoir calendar for 2012 with the charity money being split between the two chosen charities evenly. 4 photo shoots took place over 4 days with 4 photographers, countless wedding industry supplier and over 30 models in early 2011.

Now the Social Sirens calendars are hot off the press just in time for Christmas!
