You’ll never have guessed it (being a wedding blogger and all), but I’m a really romantic soul. In my early teens, Valentine’s Day was always hotly anticipated (Would I get a card this year, finally?!) and then equally vehemently mourned (Nope, no cards for me! Again).

Obviously, I’m married, so my fortunes did change – after kissing a lot of frogs. You know who you are! But, I still get a twinge of glee when I see all the cheap red signage going up at Clinton’s!

We are asking entrants to very briefly describe how they were proposed to (or how they proposed!). It doesn’t have to be wacky, amazingly different or tear-jerkingly romantic. All proposals are special and just a few lines covering where/when/how is sufficient. We are hoping that we will discover some lovely stories that we will publish when the winners are announced.
