Happy Valentine’s Day Brides Up North! It’s true! I do! And I love Yorkshire pudding a whole lot.

However you are celebrating today, I’m sending a whole lot of love your way (and totally buying into the commercial “nonsense” – husband, take note!). I’ll be snuggling up with my other half this evening at home and taking a very very very long overdue night off together. Bliss.

Alex says: We got engaged at the Christmas dinner table in front of all of Ged’s family. Was a complete surprise! Ged had to borrow his sister in law’s mother’s ring! We are planning on getting married next January, in Rotherham as that is where we grew up.

Our friend India is an fantastic photographer and she suggested an engagement shoot to us. I’d never thought of it before, but really glad we did it, it was good fun and the photos are AMAZING! Our other friend is taking the photos on the big day so we are now really relaxed about the outcome.
