Let’s get the week off to a running start with a fabulous Eastern influenced wedding inspiration shoot over in the North West, coordinated by Brides Up North Featured Supplier Andrea of Fabulous Day and Caroline White Photography. When these lovely ladies work to a theme they don’t do things by halves, do they?

Andrea of Fabulous Day says: I really wanted the second part of the shoot at Chirk Castle to be a complete contrast to the first! {Editor’s note: Click here to see the beautiful first part of the shoot}.

Initially Caroline and I had thought of a Mad Hatter’s tea party, but as the ideas developed and we got the amazing Raj Tent Club involved, we fell in love with the idea of an Arabian Nights theme.

This would give us the perfect excuse to use all the wonderful, rich jewel colours that Raj can use in their tents, plus go for a more decadent feel with the gorgeous Indian style stationery from Pink Sherbet Designs and amazing cupcakes from Cupcake Revolution (honestly they looked too good to eat –but we managed it!). We also wanted a much more moody feel to the shoot and Lizzie, our make artist, enjoyed being given a bit more dramatic licence, in creating the fab look on our model Fallon!

I was also rather taken by the Jaguar three wheel trike that I came across completely by chance. Very quirky and unusual and handily based only a few miles from the Castle – funnily enough Ashley (our male model) rather enjoyed his time on the trike!

As you will see from the pictures we also went with a different style dress and some fabulous Benjamin Adams shoes, the groom we dressed down a bit – all supplied by the fabulous Wendy at Boda Bridal!

Frog Flowers had created a wonderfully exotic bouquet and we used some of the flowers in Fallon’s hair, as the colours were spot on, as well as some of the accessories from Rocks for Frocks.

Throughout the day Tony and Sara from Marry Me Films (another Brides Up North Featured Supplier) were filming us all, and used some great time lapse filming to show the pavilion being put up and of course Caroline White Photography was working her magic, making full use of the wind and clouds!

It was great to be able to contrast this shoot with the first and show another side to Chirk, plus showcase some more amazing suppliers –they were all fantastic and a joy to work with and the good news is that Raj Tent Club are now one of the preferred marquee suppliers at Chirk.
.
I also need to give a mention to the wonderful Serena, who is the wedding manager at Chirk, who allowed us to use this beautiful venue and who arranged a cream tea for us all! Contact Serena Moore if you are interested in hiring Chirk for your wedding.
