Just a quick stop by the wedding blog this afternoon to wish you a brief hello from sunny (and that’s putting it mildly!) Cyprus. I’m here in Paphos in my dual capacity as editor of Brides Up North and freelance features writer for Wedding Ideas Magazine, with Brides Up North Featured Supplier Thomson Weddings.

We have literally been up since the crack of dawn – gotta beat that heat – dressing and styling and filming on location for Thompson Weddings’ new feature film: a day in the life of a destination wedding. I’m here to report back on the behind the scenes action and pick up some insider info for you lovely lot, plus make a cameo as a wedding guest (the things you do, eh?).

It’s a short two day shoot so its all systems go and the team are on set from sunrise to sunset. So far its hot, hard work but a whole lot of fun too. There’ll be more news from me soon, but in the meantime sit tight and enjoy all the Real Wedding pretty that I have been bringing you this week. I’ll be back tomorrow with more treats.
