Rainbow Club have been designing, making and colouring handmade satin wedding shoes since the mid 1980s and we are now firmly established as the UK’s leading and most inspirational producers. We have over 600 UK stockists and 55 Eire stockists who hold a wide range of products across our collections. From award winning shoes, to veils and headdresses, Rainbow Club prides itself on quality and comfort as well as elegance and exquisite colour.

We also offer a very unique and special process whereby we can hand colour your shoes and bags to match any colour you can possibly think of to ensure that your accessories are perfectly matched to that very special outfit for any occasion. We do this in our in-house Colour Studio where all colours are mixed and applied by hand by our expert colourists. This process has been going strong and successfully for over 25 years.

Tell us about your range of bridal shoe styles?

From the simple elegance of the Else range to the gorgeous hand-made detailing of the Hassall collection, Rainbow Club has everything a bride needs. Starting with Rainbow Club’s main range, we have several collections within this brand alone. From Bliss and Plus Fit, to the new Shimmer and extended Lace collections, there is so much to choose from.

Our Else range is simply stunning. With perfectly plain designs as well as that added bit of sparkle on newer styles, it makes this collection the best to show off a range of colours. Directed more at Prom and Bridesmaid, the Else collection is affordable and perfect for colour matching, as the dyeing service is included in the price of the shoe.

Hassall is a hand-made collection which is adorned with sparkle, lace and pearls. This is the only non-dyeable range but, as a brand, stands alone with its lavish detailing and originality. Designed specifically by our in-house designer Diane Hassall, the love and attention that has gone into this particular range is astounding.

What about your Rainbow Couture collection?

Our Couture collection has a wide range of styles and heel heights to suit everyone. Teamed with the option of classic satin and luxurious silk satin, this range dyes up beautifully with the different finishes. Embellished with crystals and pearls, we have also developed a Sparkle collection within this range, which is adorned with crystals toe to heel to give that original and glamorous look.

What is your colour room service?

Our Colour Studio is a unique service that we provide here at Rainbow Club. We have a selection of skilled Colour Technicians who hand mix dyes to match any fabric colour swatch. Each order is hand picked and hand dyed with precision and care, and all within a 2 week time frame from time of order. This service was established when the Rainbow Club brand first launched and has been a competitive brand within Bridal and Occasion wear industry ever since.

Tell us about your range of bridal accessories?

Since Winter 2010 Rainbow Club have branched out further with our range of Veils and Headdresses, which have sold fantastically ever since. Our presence within the Veil market has increased since the acquisition of Joyce Jackson, who make bespoke Veils in house, as well as Rainbow Club stocking a range of styles as standard available to order for instant delivery; an industry first for Veil manufacturing and selling. New to 2013, we have developed even more stunning styles and ideas such as lace wraps and crystal embellished edging, along with a beautiful range of Headdresses from simple bands to grand and ornate designs, to suit everyone.

And your range of children’s shoes?

We have a good range of children’s shoes available in various sizes. One particular style, ‘Abigail’, was specifically selected to be worn by the young bridesmaid’s at the Royal Wedding last year. This style is available from infant’s size 5 to adult size 5 to allow a wide range of ages to wear. From pretty pumps, to elegant short heels for the older child, we have a strong collection available for Children.

How can Brides Up North find a stockist?

If you visit our website www.rainbowclub.co.uk and click on ‘Find a Stockist’, type in your postcode and a list of stockists with their contact numbers and addresses, in your area, will be listed for you to contact. Unfortunately we do not have a list of which stockist holds which particular style and size at any one time, however if they are a stockist of that particular range they are able to order through us on your behalf.

What can Brides Up North expect when they use your service?

Customer satisfaction, guaranteed. From the beautifully bespoke Colour Studio service, to the helpful and knowledgeable Customer Service team, we can happily agree that your order from start to finish will be handled with care and attention. We also have an online service for customers to contact our in-house ‘Fairy Godmum’. This allows you to e-mail her directly with any questions or queries you may have, such as heel heights, service times or even opinions on what style would suit best, and she will happily reply within 24 hours.

Is there a particular style of shoe that has been immediately popular with your bridal customers? What is your best selling piece?
.
Our most popular styles so for this year are either the Chianti from our Else collection, or the Allora from our Couture range. Both styles incorporate an enclose platform, which has proven to be very popular within the past two years, as well as looking classically stunning in both ivory or dyed to match. The Chianti starts at around £65 and Allora at the higher end of £140 RRP.

Does Rainbow Club stock styles that would be appropriate for Bridesmaids?
.
I would recommend any styles from our Rainbow Club range for Bridesmaids, however our Else range would be more suitable as the cost for dyeing to match is included in the price of the shoes. This affordable range of styles are just perfect to show off colour with simple designs and pleating that you will find mirrored in a lot of bridesmaids dresses on the market today. We also hold an extensive range of colour swatches for Bridesmaid dress companies such as Forever Yours, Dessy and Alfred Angelo, which means we can efficiently dye to match your dress exactly.

What about Mother of The Bride? What would you recommend?
.
For Mother of the Bride I would recommend mainly the directional Rainbow Club range. The Bliss collection within this range has proven to be very popular for Mother of the Bride due to the extreme comfort in the design. Inside each of the styles in the Bliss collection there is extra padding for comfort and they are all built on a slightly wider fitting last to allow room for movement throughout the day. Each of these styles are made in the traditional Rainbow Club classic satin, which makes them great for dyeing to match your outfit perfectly.

How do your products come packaged?
.
From shoe boxes to veil boxes, all of our ranges are carefully packaged with distinct patterning depending on which range they belong to. The Rainbow Club main range, including the veils and headdresses, are branded with the distinct candy-striped boxes, Hassall distinctly marked with the logo printed on the box and booklet and organza bag included inside, Couture with the elegant branded white box and stunning pink interior and Else’s fun bright orange box with complimentary white lid and logo printed on the top.
