If you follow Brides Up North on Facebook and Twitter (ahem, get to it!) you will know that I have been itching to reveal the top secret location for the first ever Brides Up North Christmas party.

Usually at my Brides Up North Tweet Ups, I travel across the country and host an event in three locations but for our Christmas ‘do I wanted to find one very special and super Christmassy venue that was fairly accessible to most and so not quite in the heart of the North East and not quite in deepest Yorkshire. North West – I am coming your way next, I promise (but it will be worth the journey)!

So, sequins and sparkle at the ready for a very special and merry evening of cocktails, carols, Christmas swing and a first look at the stunning North Yorkshire private stately home and wedding venue that is The House at Thorp Perrow Arboretum. Watch out for some special surprises too! You have to see this place for yourselves – trust me – it’s well worth the trip!

In conjunction with CWC Mailings who are in charge of weddings and events at this stunning setting, come and make merry to celebrate the season – wedding industry colleagues and Brides Up North readers all very welcome. This isn’t a wedding exhibition or showcase, it’s simply the chance to let your hair down, have a nosy, put on the glitz and mix and mingle with the regions’ finest!

Top tip: it’s going to be an evening of merriment, so bribe a designated driver with the Quality Street first. Get in touch if you need accommodation recommendations in the area too.

The party is on us, but numbers are limited, so entry will be strictly by guest list. Please make sure to register your interest by emailing julia@bridesupnorth.co.uk asap to avoid disappointment (I don’t like to see anyone disappointed at Christmas time!).
