It’s been one of those mornings here at Brides Up North HQ. An absolute catalogue of (both domestic and blog related – that’s what you sometimes get for running a busy business alongside welcoming a new baby) errors has ensued meaning that this fab feature comes to you a little a lot later than planned. Still, we made it – for a while it was doubtful – and aren’t things looking pretty around here?!
.
If you follow me over on Twitter and Facebook (go get involved if not) then you’ll know that as well as playing the role of harassed mummy, running my own wedding blog and bridal events business also means that I sometimes get to dress up and swan around swanky venues, soaking up all the wedding pretty and new trends. And that’s almost as good as being a harassed mummy.
.
A few weeks ago I was in London for White Gallery, a huge deal in the wedding industry, and basically a massive event where all the top bridal design names (and some exciting newcomers too) present their newest collections to the trade and press. Its a first look at the gorgeous gowns that will be arriving in a boutique near you soon.

Off with her head! The Tower Of London

It was such a mad day (I was up at 5:00am to catch the early train and home by midnight) filled with taxi cabs, catwalks, catch ups and crazily beautiful wedding gowns and accessories. I’ll be featuring lots of what I saw and did on these pages over the coming weeks (it’s far too much for just one blog post, and since my job is to bring the pretty direct to your computer screen, I’d be doing you a disservice with just a quick recap of my favourites), but today I’d like to introduce the absolutely drop dead gorgeous new Vintage Rose collection by designer Suzanne Neville.

Totally spoilt – treats from the team
.
If you think these gowns look good in the pictures here, just you wait till you see them in real life!
.
I was one of only two blogs invited to see the preview – a real honour, and lovely to finally to meet the lovely team behind Rock My Wedding – hello guys! – held in the historic HM Tower Of London. After meeting the team at Suzanne Neville and the lovely, lovely lady herself (an iconic British designer but so wonderfully welcoming, humble and excited about her new collection), I settled down in the primest of seats (dead at the end of the catwalk, thank you very much) for a showcase of scrumptious wedding gowns that completely took my breath away.

Girls. I urge you. Seek out a stockist near you (there are loads up here in the North) before making any rash wedding dress decisions. These you have to see.

Always at the forefront of design, this collection is an inspirational collaboration of eccentric art, decadent fabrics, jewels and opulent lavish panache. The collection is an amalgamation of fashion trends, classic tailoring and flowing fancy that combines contemporary edgy chic with truly wonderful historic masterpieces. Joyous fabrics in laces and prints, embroidery and sparkle, brocades and dazzle.
