As well as telling you all about out own amazing events (blowing own trumpet admittedly, but that’s just what they are) here at Brides Up North, we also like to share carefully selected diary dates from our sponsors and friends that we think might interest our discerning readers. This small but perfectly formed event – White Memoirs Vintage Wedding Fayre – brought to you by Brides Up North friend and Featured Supplier Rachael of The Social Butterfly – and including a lot of Brides Up North’s own favourite exhibitors and other featured suppliers – is one of them. Diaries at the ready girls!

Rachael says: “White Memoirs aims to showcase the talent within the wedding industry on a local, independent level whilst inspiring couples to put their own personal stamp on their special day using small businesses to handcraft their wants and desires. The exhibitors I work with do business in handfuls and are truly bespoke, both in the products they make and the services they offer.
For the very first time White Memoirs vintage-inspired wedding fayre will showcase at a new city centre venue, Rosylee Tearooms on Sunday 16th February 2014.
Open to visitors from 11am till 4pm, the unique and intimate event will bring together just fifteen independent bridal businesses from a specialist craft background, guaranteed to inspire couples looking to put their personal stamp on their special day.
The Case Of The Curious Bride
Brand new bridal boutique The Case of The Curious Bride will be showing a handpicked collection of lovingly restored, true vintage wedding dresses as well as a small, unique collection from British bridal designers.
Revealing her exquisite accessories collection exclusively at White Memoirs, Samantha Dickinson of Isobel Hind Couture will showcase neckcollars, cuffs and headpieces. Each item is handcrafted by weaving together vintage organza and lace with Swarovski Crystals and pearls.
