I was signing off some official documents the other day (more on that soon) and I had to check myself when it came to dating the signature box. I don’t know about you, but we work so far ahead here at Brides Up North HQ planning our editorial schedule and events that it already feels like its halfway through 2015. I think a Christmas break is much needed…
Before we get there though, Rachel and I are busy working on our features calendar for the New Year – and you can look forward to some special new series dropping soon, as well as the official introduction of our much anticipated Experts Panel – so I thought it might be timely to remind you lovely lot how you can
share your own wedding
here on our pretty pages once the big day is done and dusted. We’re working ahead, and we’d love to process and prepare some more pretty before the New Year’s ball drops, starting 2015 off gorgeously.Of all the submissions that we receive here at Brides Up North (and it’s a lot) it’s about a 50/50 split as to whether they come direct from the bride and groom or from a member of their wedding team (usually the photographer) who thought that the wedding had that extra sparkle that needed to be shared. Whilst I love to hear from my gorgeous industry friends, there’s nothing quite like hearing from a reader first hand about why his or her wedding was special. The excitement just jumps off out of my inbox and I love to hear about each and every single celebration. It’s my favourite part of the job – no question – and I’d love to hear from you soon.
We accept submissions from brides and grooms, photographers, planners and other wedding vendors, and as well as weddings, I also love to see engagement session photographs, couples shoots, trash the dress, cherish the dress and styled session photographs. we accept wedding submissions of all themes, sizes, religions and gay weddings.
From intimate do-it-yourself-dos with a difference to big budget blow outs, we believe that every wedding is special.
