.With a first class degree in Fashion Design, Andrea Hawkes set up her studio back in 2013 having worked for some of the most established British Bridal Designers in London.

From designing one off commissions she started to see a demand for a more simplistic approach to bridal design and the experience of searching for a wedding dress. This inspired her to design a collection of classic dress shapes using luxurious European fabrics such as Italian silks and French laces.

The key elements to Andrea’s main collection are based around using the best and most beautiful sourced fabrics, made in her studio by her talented team and keeping to a simplistic design aesthetic.

Andrea has also recently unveiled a Capsule collection of 5 new gowns (shown below), to sit alongside the main collection, which we are totally lusting after today in the Brides Up North office.
The new Capsule collection is focused on slightly relaxed shapes while retaining Andrea’s essence of strong lines and attention to detail, using 100% natural fabrics throughout and finished with couture techniques and a lighter, more relaxed silhouette to achieve a fashion forward yet timeless look.

All Andrea’s pieces are individually hand made in her London studio. A toile (cotton) fitting is undertaken before each dress is made to ensure a perfect fit for every client. The bespoke bridal collection range is between £1,650 to £6,000. Full couture design and make is also available on request.
