We’ve just put our best ever season of Brides Up North events to bed for the summer (someone pop the prosecco!) and Brides Up North HQ is still buzzing from our final shows of the season, our much awaited – and absolutely epic – wedding festivals.

We’ve already shared our official images from #WEDSTOCK16 at Stockeld Park, Harrogate – click here to catch up – and now our official event photographers Peace Wedding Photography are back with all the images from our North West event, #WEDSTIVAL16,  held at the magnificent Capesthorne Hall in collaboration with Shades and Big Chief Tipis.

If you are new to these pretty pages, let us explain a little… based on a hunch that the world might be ready for some massive, festival themed bridal events (we’d either had a lot of coffee or were smoking something strange that morning in the office!) the Brides Up North team set out on a bit of a mission: to bring the North the UK’s first large scale wedding festivals.  Over a year in the planning, it turns out that the fabulous Northern wedding industry and our brilliant readers (that’s you) were about to get as (naturally!) high on the idea as we were!

60 plus of the area’s finest wedding industry suppliers at each event, big top wedding tents, tipi villages, bell tent honeymoon suites, arched wedding tents, Party Bales, Baleric inspired chill out areas, street food, a blow up pub (!), a Double Decker Bus bar, vintage caravans and campers, bloom bars, floral selfie backdrops, picnic areas, live bands, trapeze artists… we could go on… each event just felt like one huge wedding planning party. With Pimms.  Pimms by the bucket-load.
