This afternoon on the blog we have some dreamy eye candy in the form of a stunning styled shoot to ease away those Monday blues.
Put together by a talented group of Cheshire wedding suppliers, this shoot centres round A Midsummer Night’s Dream theme with relaxed, ethereal styling and beautiful boho dresses and accessories.
Here to fill us in on all the pretty details is Rebecca from Gypsy Rose Vintage, who provided the beautiful hair accessories featured in the shoot. We need to get us one of those rose flower crowns #lush.

rebecca says:
The purpose of the shoot was to bring together a group of like-minded bohemian and vintage inspired creatives to create a Midsummer Night’s Dream inspired shoot.
The chosen location was a local hidden gem, Maggoty Wood in Gawsworth, Cheshire, which fit perfectly with the theme of the shoot. The open space woodland was perfectly quiet and tranquil on the day we shot, allowing us to have free reign to create a series of different backdrops, capturing the natural beauty of the area.

The styling, which Pretty Creative assisted on, revolved around the Midsummer Night’s Dream/floral theme. We specifically wanted to include lots of feathers/dreamcatchers, colourful fresh fruits, such as figs and grapefruits, and, of course, lots of lovely flowers, which were supplied by Verity & Thyme. The stationery was created by Hattie Boo Designs and added a romantic pop of colour.

Knutsford-based designer Felicity Cooper Bridal, provided the stunning dresses for the shoot, one of which was from the brand new 2017 ‘Natural Soul’ collection. A range of my Gypsy Rose Vintage hair accessories and headdresses were then added to complete the looks.

Hair and makeup meanwhile, was taken care of by makeup artists Harry Jon, who kept the look natural, free and flowing, in keeping with the theme and attire.

The main backdrop for the shoot was the high-back peacock wicker chair, which we adorned with eucalyptus, avalanche roses and hydrangeas.

The day of the shoot flew by! The weather and lighting couldn’t have been more perfect and we achieved what we wanted to do by capturing some beautiful shots in a rustic woodland setting.

If readers like what they see, they should be sure to take a look on the lovely suppliers’ websites. The Gypsy Rose Vintage SS16 collection is now available to shop online, with new styles from the Midsummer Night’s Dream collection having just launched.
