Which is why we are so excited to be bringing you news of an a-maz-ing event set to take place at our wonderful Sponsor boutique, the gorgeous LOVE Bridal, located in Altrincham, Cheshire.
Diaries at the ready then ladies (and if you already have plans, cancel them!) – on Saturday 27th October, LOVE Bridal owner Emma Draper and her team will be welcoming Sassi Holford to the boutique along with a truly stunning selection of gowns from her new 2019 Enchanted collection, which are sure to steal your heart!
From beautifully simple silhouettes to detailed showstoppers, there is a dreamy dress design for all that will take your big day limelight moment to the next level.
So, keen to find out more about what this fabulous Designer Day event will hold and get the all-important details on how to secure one of those precious one-hour appointments (which must be booked quick as only a few spaces remain!), we’re hearing from the lovely Emma while showcasing some of the utterly sensational gowns that will be present on the day.

What can brides-to-be expect from the Sassi Holford Designer Day?

: Sassi will be bringing gowns from her brand new 2019 Enchanted collection, giving brides the rare opportunity to view and try on many of her gorgeous designs, including gowns such as Jodene, Naomi, Giselle, Millie and more.This will be the epitome of the LOVE Bridal experience. Brides will get a personal appointment lasting one hour with Sassi Holford herself on hand to help style and advise brides on their perfect dress and fit. There will also be a 10% discount on all gowns purchased on the day of the event.
What are the benefits of the event to brides-to-be?
Many of the gowns from her brand new 2019 collection will only be available during Sassi’s visit, as we will not hold every single gown in our continuing LOVE collection. This is a rare opportunity to find the dress, especially for Sassi Holford fans. Brides will not only get an exclusive look at her whole collection but also get to meet and be styled by Sassi Holford herself!

Tell us a little about Sassi Holford’s designs, what kind of fabrics and detailing are used?
Sassi Holford’s designs celebrate the female form with classic silhouettes and corsetry, using the most luxurious of fabrics. Her 2019 collection taps into some of the new season’s key trends including fabulous textures, layering, stunning detachable accessories like capes, bows, skirts and trains, with a hint of contemporary cool, pairing elegant gowns with leather jackets.
Any particular favourites or stand out pieces within her collections for you personally?
We have been totally blown away by yet another outstanding collection from Sassi Holford, so much so that we are a little bit spoilt for choice to pick only one favourite… but two of our team favourites include the Millie gown with her silk crepe bodice and full organza skirt and a showstopping (optional) organza bow at the nape of the neck. Here at LOVE we’re huge fans of simple gowns which can then be accessorised to suit the individual bride and so we have a particular soft spot for the Naomi gown too. This is a strapless version of the popular Sienna gown, that has been created in a super soft manmade crepe with an integrated stretch corset and looks incredible accessorised with the back fastening, delicate lace Yvette jacket or kept simple with a statement belt or the large satin Faye bow belt.
What sizes are Sassi Holford’s designs available in?
Sassi Holford offers a range of sizes from size 8 upwards with bespoke made-to-measure and split size options available too.
What is the price range of the dresses?
Dress prices start from £1,800 up to around £3,000 with some options slightly above and below depending on fabrics etc.

What are you looking forward to most about the designer event?
We previewed the collection during London Bridal Week and Sassi never disappoints. We have confidently selected six gowns to stock at LOVE so now can’t wait for our new brides to clap eyes on them. Plus being styled by the designer herself will be an incredible experience!
Do you have any advice for brides-to-be attending the event?
Many of the gowns will only be available to try at LOVE during Sassi’s one-day visit, so make sure you have anyone with you that you need there to make a decision and be prepared to take the leap on the day. If there are any particular gowns that you have already seen and loved from this collection, then do let us know in advance of your appointment. These dresses are fabulous so choosing only one dress will be hard!
