Can you give us a brief overview of Viva La Booth and the team that runs it?

Viva La Booth say

: We are a husband and wife team and are photographers by trade. Dom is a cinematographer, making wedding and event films throughout the world. He has a key eye for design and colour. He has ensured the booth looks fantastic, that the system runs super smooth and the quality of the images are second to none. He knows what makes a good picture. And Jen knows what makes a good party! Top of her game at organising and planning, there’s not a list that hasn’t been made to cover your booth requirements. Jen is on the pulse with fashion and design and is constantly working on new ideas to make sure your booth, backdrop and props are leading the way. Jen will make sure your booth is party ready and your booking is managed efficiently. She’ll make sure your Viva La Booth goes with a bang, and your images are ready to download to relive the fun. Jen is full of ideas and enthusiasm to make your party the one to remember and would love to work with you on bringing your ideas to life.

How long has the business been running and how has it developed in that time?

We have been running for three years now and have more than 200 events behind us. Viva La Booth has remained true to its core values from the outset, which is to take a great picture in a gorgeous looking photo booth. One which will be in keeping with your stunning venue and the style of your wedding with excellent service. Never one to rest on our laurels though, we always keep a keen eye on the most up to date photo booth tech and top wedding trends so that we can deliver unique and stylish props, Insta-ready filters and amazing memories for your guests.

Can you tell us about your photo booth and what sets it apart from others?

Have you seen it?!! The coolest photo booth around. There are no plastic boxes and curtain drapes here. We wanted our photo booth to add to the style of your wedding and be a talking point. Our mid-century modern take is leading the way in photo booth design and really is a showstopper. Handmade in Yorkshire, the oak booth encases the most up to date photo technology, meaning the Viva La Booth not only looks the part but takes bright flawless images against a studio back drop, then prints out instantly. The open-air style means that everyone gets involved and is a great source of entertainment too. We have the most unique and eclectic props, including our exclusive Viva La Booth bear heads which cannot be seen anywhere else (those cheeky bears!). Our luxe leather guest book ensures that you have all fun captured to keep.

You’ve just introduced the ‘Luxe’ package – tell us more…

The Luxe package is those added extras, the finishing touches to what is already a great product, making your wedding THE one to remember. The Luxe package will give you an extra hour of use so more fun, more pictures. You have the use of the most on trend sequinned festival hats to complement our already great selection of props. Our disco ball heads will also add to the fun and get you the most unique pictures. We will do a post shoot edit on your images to make sure they are absolutely flawless. In addition to all this you will receive a delivery of absolute loveliness after your day: all your images on an engraved rose gold USB and a selection of prints in a personalised wallet on hand crafted paper. This is all gift wrapped beautifully and delivered to your door.

What else is new for Viva La Booth?

The hats, the festival hats are here. The ultimate party hat. Have your picture taken in these beauties bringing the most fashionable touches to your day. We have new backdrops literally dropping by the minute. Check out our new Coral Palm one inspired by the Pantone colour of the year as well as our Blush Black and Gold Stripe, which are to die for. We also now offer a Kardashian style photo booth. This is a single black and white image which is THE most stylish way to photo booth and capture that ultimate Insta-ready selfie.

Why would you encourage couples to hire a photo booth for their wedding and what types of couples does Viva La Booth appeal to?

A photo booth is more than pictures. It is entertainment for your guests, it’s gets everyone up and the party started (our photo booth attendants will make sure of that!) It captures pictures and groups of people that you never would have got together. Our open-air style means that people can also watch the fun as it happens. Your guests get a printed-out picture to take home to reminder the day. It ticks so many boxes.

Can you give us an overview of the range of backdrops you offer?

We have more than 20 backdrops. These are designed to complement varying wedding themes and settings. We have a range of colours and designs and are always updating them to incorporate the latest themes. We have lush palms, beautiful blushes, and the most amazing geometric design, which are just a few of our most popular. If you have a venue with a stunning brick wall there is nothing better than using the architectural features of the venue as the backdrop.

How can couples personalise the photobooth further?

You can use an arbour, backdrop, flower or balloon wall you may have already hired for the day which makes the experience even more personal. We can also assist with bespoke backdrops. All your prints will be personalised with your name and date, special message to your guests or a great hashtag – #partywiththearnotts #selfiewiththesmiths #aintnothinglikeamartinparty are a few of my favourites from this year.

What parts of the day do you think the booth is best suited to?

The booth is a party starter and is best suited to the evening. Going from day to night it provides entertainment for your guests and as the evening goes on, the more fun they seem to have!

In addition to a photo booth, what other entertainment do you feel is a great addition to a wedding?

We are all about the party and I think great live music is a must. We are loving the brass bands at the moment who have amazing energy and get everyone up on their feet.

What is the feedback like from wedding couples about Viva La Booth?

Our Viva La Booth couples love the look of the photo booth and say what a real taking point it is at the wedding. They also love the lighting and say it’s the best picture they have seen of themselves. And everyone loves the bears heads who can often be seen taking a little trip to the dancefloor! “Thank you so much for bringing Viva La Booth to our wedding afterparty. We are so glad we decided to go for it, as your photobooth was the ideal icebreaker at the start of the party. Lots of our guests commented on how much fun they had with it and how much they love their photos.
