Looking for a dreamy escape that marries old-world charm with a dash of modern luxury? Well, we were too, and that’s why we were over the moon to be whisked away to the enchanting Brockencote Hall Hotel, nestled in the lush Worcestershire countryside.
Picture this: a gorgeous Victorian Country Manor, set against the backdrop of the Malvern Hills. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic stay or a peaceful retreat, where you can channel your inner Bridget Jones mini break fantasies, minus the Daniel Cleaver drama!
After all, “a mini break means true love”!
As we arrived at Brockencote Hall Hotel, we couldn’t help but feel the instant zen that washed over us— it’s rare to step into a place and feel so effortlessly at ease. With 70 acres of stunning parkland, it’s a haven for those who love a leisurely stroll or a cozy nook to curl up with a good book (or a cheeky glass of wine, anyone?).
Our corner room was a delightful blend of modern luxe and Victorian elegance, complete with high ceilings, delicate cornicing, and a bathtub that practically begged for a bubble bath.
The highlight of our stay? The dining, of course! Brockencote’s Chaddesley Restaurant, with its 3 AA rosettes, was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece.
We indulged in a nine-course tasting menu that had us swooning over every bite. From scallops with a divine Thai Green Curry sauce to freshly roasted duck cooked to perfection, and a tantalizing lemon balm and almond dessert, it was pure foodie heaven.
The service was impeccable, with staff pairing wines from their extensive cellar to complement our dishes perfectly. They regaled us with tales of the hotel’s storied past, making us feel like part of the Brockencote family.
For those who prefer something a bit more low-key, there’s afternoon tea and a Sunday Lunch menu that’s a hit with the locals (booking is essential, darlings!).
It wouldn’t be quite right to sign off without floating Brockencote Hall as a potential wedding venue for our cool couples.
Winners for their region in the 2024 Wedding Industry Awards, the French inspired architecture (yes – think Bridgerton!) and beautiful features of this Victorian Manor make it an excellent choice for a ceremony or wedding breakfast.
Despite the grandeur of the Manor, Brockencote is perfect for a small intimate occasion, with picture perfect spaces offering an anything but low-key ceremony for up to 14-32 guests.
If you’re going large, then up to 90 guests in the Chaddesley Restaurant – paired with the sensational kitchen team and service – is a fabulous option.
So, if you’re in need of a little getaway, Brockencote Hall Hotel is calling your name. Just pack your best Bridget Jones knickers and prepare for a weekend of romance and relaxation.
Cheers to love, laughter, and luxurious escapes forever!
