Meet Georgia

“I’m Georgia – a wedding and portrait photographer based in Sheffield, capturing real, honest moments for laid-back couples.”

Starting Out

Georgia’s passion for photography started in her teenage years, drawn to documenting the little, everyday moments – the “in-between bits” that often go unnoticed. As she honed her skills photographing friends and family, she soon found herself taking on any photography job she could. Weddings quickly followed, and before long, Georgia was running a business built on storytelling and authentic connection.

What Makes Georgia Different

Georgia offers full-day wedding photography, but what sets her apart is how personal and relaxed the experience feels. She makes it a priority to get to know her couples like old friends, so no one ever feels awkward in front of the camera. While she’s happy to offer gentle guidance, she prefers to let the day unfold naturally, capturing moments as they happen – honestly and unobtrusively.

Style & Approach

Her signature style is natural, timeless, and full of emotion – think rich tones, real expressions, and photos that feel like memories. Nothing is overly posed or forced; Georgia is all about those genuine moments you’ll want to relive again and again.

Dream Client

Georgia loves working with couples who value moments over perfection but still want their portraits to be just right. “They’re easygoing, a little sentimental, love their people fiercely, and aren’t afraid to get their shoes muddy or dance in the rain.”

Inspiration

“My dad taught me the value of documenting life. I’m also endlessly inspired by connection—between people, places, and the quiet little stories we often miss if we’re not looking closely.”

What’s Next

In five years’ time, Georgia hopes to keep growing her business while staying true to her values. She’d love to take on a few destination weddings and eventually mentor newer photographers – “more of the good stuff, just at a slower, more intentional pace.”

Favourite Wedding Moments

For Georgia, it’s all about the bits no one else sees – a deep breath before walking down the aisle, a hand squeeze under the table, the quiet moments between the chaos. “And honestly, any emotional moment. I’m a sucker for a good cry behind the camera.”

Your Experience

“It’s a personal, easy-going experience that feels more like working with a friend.”

After an initial enquiry, Georgia usually arranges a relaxed consultation call to get to know her couples and chat through their day. If you book, she’s there to support you every step of the way – from prep guides and timeline help to sneak previews and a gallery full of joyful images.

Client Love

“Georgia is absolutely amazing! If you are lucky enough to have her available for your wedding date, book her right away! We planned our wedding from overseas and Georgia helped us every step of the way. She was so much more than a photographer—she really helped us to plan the perfect wedding and then helped to coordinate so much on the day. The pictures turned out so beautifully and captured our day perfectly. She is fun, sweet, has great communication, and is an amazing photographer. I feel I have gained a friend for life and am so happy I was lucky enough to work with her!”

Georgia’s Advice

When choosing a wedding photographer, Georgia believes it’s all about trust and connection. “Find someone whose work you love – but more importantly, someone you trust and feel comfortable with. Your photographer is with you all day, so that connection really matters.”

What’s Trending

Georgia sees a shift towards more intentional weddings – stripped back, heartfelt, and focused on what really matters. In photography, she’s noticing a move towards an editorial-meets-documentary style: candid with a touch of elegance, and always with a big focus on storytelling.

Final Thoughts

“Just a little reminder – your wedding is about you. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Trust your suppliers, soak it all in, and be present with your people. That’s what makes the magic.”
