I believe the best photographs are not always the perfectly posed ones, but the ones that just feel right. The quiet glances, the little smiles, the slightly windswept veil, the in-between seconds that often you don’t see.
Those are the moments.
When I first started this journey that was my vision. It was always about being genuine and making those that put their confidence in me feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely themselves. I know being in front of a camera can feel a little unnerving, so I’ll gently guide you when you need it. I’ll step back when the moment is unfolding naturally, and if there’s a hint of awkwardness… don’t worry – I’ll have a slightly questionable one-liner ready to bring out a real smile.
My approach is thoughtful and honest. I care about the details, but more than that, I care about how you feel and how your photos feel when you look back at them years from now.
I want them to bring you right back to the atmosphere, the natural emotion and the genuine connection of your story.

I cannot praise Shane enough for the photos he did of our wedding! From start to finish, Shane was everything you could want from a wedding photographer. From the initial point of contact, Shane was quick to respond, professional and made both my husband and I feel comfortable, taking the time to get to know us personally, put us at ease and identify what we wanted. Our pre-wedding photoshoot was fantastic, despite the fact that my (now) husband was incredibly hungover, you would never know from the photos. In addition to this, Shane spent the time putting us at ease with the camera, not an easy task in itself, all whilst getting to know us some more and generally just chatting to us. Shane remembered all the information from our initial call which was amazing, ensuring that the experience felt personal. On to the wedding day and I cannot fault Shane in any way. He did an amazing job, the photos looked phenomenal and all of our guests have said how brilliant he was. He helped out around the venue on the day, calming me down when someone got orange juice on my dress and just went the extra mile. He was faultless from start to finish. Shane then stayed in touch and kept me up to date on timescales, with great communication throughout. If I could have rated Shane more than 5 stars I absolutely would have.
