Charlotte from Fable & Promise says: Where on earth has this past year gone? Our decision to open Fable & Promise was a bit of a whirlwind and that seems to be how the year continued: thrown in at the deep end on a pretty vertical learning curve. But here we are, a year wiser and going from strength to strength.

To celebrate we’re holding a wedding fair open day on our anniversary, 1st September 2012.

We want to share how far we have come with you; how different the shop looks, how gorgeous our dresses are and the brilliant wedding professionals we’ve found along the way.

We have a lot to show you… our 2013 San Patrick collection has arrived but we’re keeping it under wraps until the 1st! We are so excited it’s unbelievable! We chose twenty of the delightfully romantic 2013 collection and we’re on pins waiting to see what you think. Our brand new Modern Vintage collection is also pretty stunning and already turning heads in the few short days it’s been in store. We’re also really excited by our amazing new Julietta range for the fuller figure. We’re really proud to offer this new collection and now have sample dresses up to a size 32 for you to try on.

Each of the exhibitors have donated prizes towards a spectacular wedding hamper. The prize is shaping up to be quite a snatch and well worth a donation. Tickets are only £1 each and East Lancs Hospice will be on hand to draw the winner of the hamper at 3pm. They are also bringing their Mini Coupe along… they have a competition on to win £5000 and the Mini for a year!
