One task that many couples find difficult in the run up to their big day is compiling the checklist for their photographer.

I definitely find it daunting. I don’t want the photograph session to take over the reception entirely (I would like some time to chat to our guests and enjoy some pink champagne with my new hubby!), but it is important to me to have photographs with all our nearest and dearest, and I am worried about forgetting someone! Luckily we are working with David Lawson of David Lawson Studio, Sunderland, who is a true professional, but I still need some guidance as to what shots to include in the initial list.
I found a really useful checklist that you can print off and tick against via About.com: Weddings, and share it below. The wording is by Nina Callaway, About.com Guide, who advises “Check off your essentials below, and add any of your own creative ones. But don’t check off too many – you’ll want the photographer to have some time for creative license.”
Wise words indeed. Now, are you ready for your close up?
