It must be hard to find a more beautiful setting than the banks of Loch Lomond! This lovely Real Wedding was sent to me by Kirsteen of Your Wedding at Loch Lomond and her husband Colin of CIA Photography.

Kirsteen tells us about this very special setting: Laura and James were married at Bonhill Church, Alexandria, Scotland by the Reverend Ian Miller, who is a bit of a local legend. Everyone wants him as their minister. Its no exaggeration that people come to Loch Lomond simply to have Mr Miller as their minister! (he was ours!) He’s a very funny man.

The reception venue was The Cruin at Loch Lomond. It is right on the banks of Loch Lomond. The staff there are fantastic, really friendly and cannot do enough for you. I always highly recommend this to our brides to be. They even have their own pier – a great spot for photographs!

We also took a walk to Balloch Park, again by Loch Lomond. There is a castle within the grounds of this country park and James and Laura were photographed in the grounds with Loch Lomond in the background.
