The lovely Tracey from Midway Media, Weddings and Events Videographers got in touch to share a fabulous New Year’s Eve Real Wedding with Brides Up North. The difference with this Real Wedding is that all the images are stills taken from the Midway Media film. I think this is beautiful.

If you are still not in the festive mood, you will be once you have seen this… another mulled wine and a mince pie anyone?

Midway Media tells us more about the big day: Corrin and Mike’s wedding ceremony was held at St Peter’s church, Edensor situated within the Chatsworth House Estate, in the heart of the Peak District. On the day of the wedding the church was adorned with Christmas decorations.

Corrin wore an ivory dress with lace detail embedded with gold crystals and just looked absolutely stunning with Mike wearing his traditional Naval uniform.

Then followed the reception at Hassop Hall, near Bakewell. Corrin and Mike travelled the 4 miles from St Peter’s to Hassop Hall in the horse drawn carriage.

Once at the venue, mulled wine was given to all the guests before the photo shoot and the serving of the wedding breakfast.

The tables were named after the 12 days of Christmas which was teamed with a nautical theme
to reflect Mike’s job in the Navy. Hassop Hall was beautifully decorated with coal fires burning and Moroccan lamps. After the meal, the party really got going and didn’t stop until 1.00am, with Spirits High providing confetti cannons for the New Year festivities! It was great to capture the New Year celebrations on film and we know it is something they will never forget!
