Tell Brides Up North a bit about yourself and how And All Things Nice began…
.
I’m Andrea and heading towards a significant flirty thirty birthday in 2011. I’ve always loved parties and all the pretty fun things that go alongside them so despite spending 3 years at University studying economics and then working in finance roles, it’s no surprise that in the end the girly dream of working with all things pretty & celebratory came true! In April 2005 the And All Things Nice shop opened in Willows Drive, Hornsea.

What sort of products do you supply?

Nearly 6 years later the focus remains the same – to enable people to have quality, coordinating celebrations with something a little different to that offered on the high street. I put together all the handmade wedding favours and we also supply a large range of products for wedding receptions including trivia, table crystals, guest books, table plans, bubbles, cameras and a wide range of bridal party gifts.

How can brides to be order your products?

We still operate from our retail store in Hornsea, East Yorkshire but have been offering our products and services through our website since 2007 and we can be seen exhibiting at many wedding fairs.

What have been your best selling wedding products in 2010?
.
Our vintage rose and pearl pillow box favour has been our biggest selling favour closely followed by our heart chocolate lantern stacks. In other products. the crystal heart personalised guest book, just married paper chains, wooden wedding sign, bridesmaid heart gift tags and fortune tellers have been some of our strongest sellers of the year.

Have you any new wedding products for 2011?
.
We have lots of new products for 2011 including a new range of favours made from stunning high quality card in some beautiful colours. Early January also sees the arrival of the new Something in The Air range with butterfly wishes tags for guests to write messages on and hang up as an alternative to guest books, laser cut butterfly place cards for glasses, new wedding table trivia, laser cut cupcake wraps and coordinating cupcake stands. We are also getting ready for the Royal Wedding with a special range of products to launch early March catering for Royal themed events & street parties!

Any really unusual or fun products for weddings that we should know about?

I personally love the Something to Keep You Busy When the Grown Ups are Being Really Boring At The Table – The Wedding Version! Packed with puzzles with a wedding theme for children at weddings. We’ve seen adult bridesmaids so taken with them that the bride has bought them one too!

Can you provide decorations and favours for bridal showers and hen parties too?

Yes we can provide favours and decorations for almost every occasion. We have just done lots of bespoke Christmas favour orders including a couple of local restaurants for their Christmas day tables and have three new hen party favours launching in late January. Are you married?
.
Sadly not! Mr AATN is undoubtedly the love of my life and despite seven years together, a beautiful home we share and our latest puppy addition I am yet to convince him that we need to get married. He’s very supportive of my business but is a typical bloke and runs a mile at the thought of me being let loose with our bank card!

Which And All Things Nice products would you use on your big day?

I would have to have a personalised guest book as I am a sentimental fool and I think having beautiful messages in such a beautiful book to keep for a lifetime is lovely (although I might have to purchase a waterproof cover for it!).

Which of your favour products would you suggest for the royal wedding?

I would suggest the vintage pearl and rose pillow box favour (above) as it’s elegant and classic and I still imagine the bride to be wearing lace on her dress.
