So, my “cut out and put under his pillow” handy hints Valentine’s series continues with a stop at my home town and one of my favourite restaurants, Bistro 21, Akeley Heads, Durham.
.
To be fair, this restaurant is just as good with your girlfriends, colleagues or for a private party, but this is Valentine’s Day and we are talking romance.

Start the evening with flute of champagne in their cosy snug of a bar (perfect for snuggling up), before heading through to Bistro 21’s French farmhouse style, whitewashed dining room – all starched white linens and shiny silver. Order a bottle of something good from their extensive wine list, and have a thoroughly good feast for two.
.
Afterwards, why not check into the nearby Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club to continue the fun! Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club is a Brides Up North Featured Supplier (and actually where I grew up), so I know it’s nice!
