Brides Up North Featured Supplier, York Place Studios sent Brides Up North this lovely winter Real Wedding. Ancel & Louise were married at St. Hilda’s Church and had their reception at Raven Hall Hotel in Scarborough this Christmas. Why wait another year? Mince pies all round.

It was perfect. A glistening white silk blanket coated the moors and dusted the rooftops, the sky was clear and the trees were still, save for the whisper of a breeze carrying a chill of excitement through the air.

As Louise prepared for her big day there was a wonderful mix of nervous excitement, joy and laughter as she and her bridesmaids Charlotte and Sarah were assisted with their hair and makeup. As Louise pulled back her veil and slipped into her dress the ensemble was completed as Nina, the inordinately sweet flower girl took her hand.

Meanwhile, outside the church Ancel and best man John were quite literally chilling out on the icy road outside the church. As they took their places in front of the alter the mother of the bride and the gorgeous bridesmaids pulled up outside the church ready to assist the fabulous bride across the
frosted entrance.

The ceremony was enchanting. They made a striking couple as they shared an embrace in the snow before rejoining their family and friends to celebrate.

As we arrived back at Raven Hall, the old country lodge surrounded by snow and stylishly decorated looked like something out of White Christmas, and though Bing Crosby was no-where to be seen, an impromptu visit from Santa Claus brought further festive good cheer.

Whilst the guests partied into the night, dancing and playing the roulette wheel, we caught the bride and groom as they snuck off in search of mistletoe.
