Today, Chris Milner Photography is back to showcase the couple’s gorgeous real wedding.  My heart is singing today: a beautiful wedding, all sorts of exciting things coming up and to top it all off – it’s Friday!  Wahoooo!

.

Without further ado, over to Mr MilnerMy first meeting with Chris and Emma was back in November last year and it was clear back then just how much planning and forethought they had both given to planning their big day.

Both Chris and Emma were brought up in villages on the outskirts of Whitby, and have known each other since their school years, they wanted their wedding day to be a completely Yorkshire affair, and tying both their childhood villages into the proceedings was the first step.

Emma grew up in Stainsacre, a few miles east of Whitby, and the church across the road from her primary school obviously held a lot of fond memories for Emma and was a clear winner for choosing where they would get married.

I have been looking forward to their wedding day ever since they told me where the location of the reception would be; Chris was brought up on a dairy farm near to the village of Lealholm, nestled in the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Moors, which was such a perfect place to pitch a big marquee!
