Well, well, well. Here at the Brides Up North wedding blog HQ, the treats just keep coming thick and fast. I had some very exciting news this week about a little collaboration for Brides Up North (more on that later) and I was, like, giving diamonds away last night. Click here for your chance to win some!

Talking of fab collaborations, Brides Up North Featured Supplier All Wrapped Up Events sent me this absolutely amazingly gorgeous Summer of Love photo shoot to share on the wedding blog this morning. It’s a two part piece, so with more to share later in the week be sure to keep logging on to Brides Up North! Without further ado, lets hear from All Wrapped Up Events…

The idea from the shoot came from looking through old photo’s of my mum and dad’s wedding, they looked so cool and retro and when I saw the photos of them and everyone around them I really wanted to try and recreate something special

I’m always one for a good photo shoot, not necessarily being in one, but the creation of one is amazing. Sometimes I do feel like something is missing though so with the help of a team of fantastic suppliers and friends I think you will agree we certainly did pull it off!

I cannot thank everyone enough for all their help and for Heaton House Farm who let us use their wonderful venue, they have just gained approval for outdoor ceremonies under the pagoda which is fantastic news!

We had a great day, it was a lot of fun, and yeah the rain held off the end part of the shoot… the bit with the picnic and the outdoor guests… but as you’ll see in the next instalment (coming up soon on the wedding blog), the indoor shoots are simply stunning!

I want to do a special thank everyone not involved in the wedding world who gave up their time to be involved in the day, Alex the bride, Lee the groom , Lisa the Registrar ( & Lee’s wife!) Harley & Natalie the bridesmaids, Chris the best man and Alambra and Joanne who came to be guests in the outdoor picnic but it didn’t turn out that way unfortunately!
