It’s been another crazy weekend here at Brides Up North HQ. As well as lots of blogging, freelance deadlines and dates with my television set (I schedule my Barlow time like a not to be missed meeting now!) I’ve been exhibiting as a guest of The UK Wedding Shows at Newcastle Racecourse. I met so many lovely new brides and grooms who just loved the concept of what I am trying to do here on my little wedding blog, and also some fabulous die hard readers. Girls, I salute you! If you are visiting for the first time, I’m just about to catch up on what you have missed this week, but first of all, let me tell you about a special soiree coming up later this week.

This Thursday evening, I’ll have my lippy on once again and will be ready to meet the lovely ladies of Yorkshire as a guest of Leafy Couture at the Harewood House Wedding Showcase. I’ll be on hand with loads of insider info, tips and ideas as this amazing venue opens its doors for the evening. We are also celebrating Leafy Couture’s fifth birthday, so there is sure to be some bubbly involved!
