So, this Saturday coming I’d scheduled into my bulging pink Filofax a cheeky – and much needed – day off. No exhibiting, no freelance writing, no nothing (although I’ll be blogging as usual). A day full of possibilities, of lie ins, of freedom…

So, this Saturday, on my day off, I’ll be jumping into my trusty Brides Up North mobile and high tailing it to Brummie central, to walk the floor, explore, greet old friends, meet new ones, hob nob with my Featured Suppliers, pop in to see the lovely Charlotte from Rock My Wedding on her stand, chat to the I Am Staggered boys on theirs, check out the trends, blag some freebies and generally immerse myself in wedding loveliness. After two (wonderful but tiring) weekends spent exhibiting as a guest of The UK Wedding Shows myself, the pressure is off and the foraging for inspiration is ON! Oh yes. And…you can be rest assured that I’ll share my favourite findings with you lot too. Roll on Saturday. I’m almost looking forward to the three hour drive… I said almost.
