We took a break from the Count Your Blessings series last week because we were too busy celebrating the wedding blog’s first birthday (wahoo!). But we are back this week with some feel good factors from Brides Up North reader and bride to be Ana. Be happy.

Ana says: Thanks for the inspiration in your blog, and making me take time out and think of the things that I am happy about, rather than the negatives that I seem to find far easier to concentrate on.

My ten things that I am happy about right now are:

1 My wonderful fiancé telling me he loves me out of the blue and telling me about the plans he had for my wedding surprise. It doesn’t matter that we cannot afford what he wanted to do, the thought was there
.
2 My grandparents and family’s health
.
3 My cat purring away merrily as he stretches next to me
.
4 That the cold frosty days are beautifully fresh and sunny
.
5 The Christmas markets are arriving in Manchester
.
6 That I found my perfect wedding dress at a fraction of the price!
.
7 That there is a competition on to win a make up course which is my dream but can not afford… Fingers crossed, maybe, just maybe
.
8 Plenty of laughs and merriment with my friends at the pub quiz
.
9 Weekend shopping trip with my future sister-in-law to Bicester Village for plenty of bargain goodies
.
10 An email from my boss telling me I am doing a great job… when all I seem to be doing lately is stressing about the job
.
They might not seem like much, but they remind me to breathe, count to 10 and tell myself it’s not all doom and gloom, things are good!
