Meanwhile, this afternoon on the wedding blog, bride to be Laura C shares the ten little things making her happy in the run up to the festive season.

.

.

Laura C says: I love reading every ‘Count your Blessings’ post you publish. Every Sunday, I try and think back over my week, and make a list of things that have made me happy. Often, these are small little things that happen weekly anyway, but I have never truly taken stock over what is a blessing to me on the whole, so here it goes…

.

1  Until next Easter, I get to wake up next to my gorgeous fiancé every morning. He has to go away to work for a year, but until then I am unbelievably grateful to have him next to me

.

2  My family’s health

.

3  Working from home. As the days are shorter and colder, I like nothing more to snuggle in big cosy jumpers of an afternoon working away, knowing I don’t have to leave the house

.

4  The team spirit and support I get from my rowing squad. They are great friends and push me to improve every single day

.

5  Being creative and knitting away in front of the telly on a Saturday night

.

6  Receiving the official letter telling me that I achieved a 1:1 with a distinction, and was top of the year, in my recently completed MA

.

7  A girl’s nights, in or out!

.

8  Getting dressed up for black tie events, and seeing everyone in their finest

.

9  Being asked to trial for the GB selection squad

.

10 When my fiancé texts me at lunch time from work to say thank you for making his sandwiches

.

i could go on forever, but I will stop at 10!  Best wishes, Laura C x
