Over to Alison: When you’ve chosen the strapless wedding dress of your dreams – you think you look amazing right?

And then the wedding pictures come back, all cropped in the wrong place and you realise:

Luckily I had straps on my wedding dress, although one of my friends did tell me afterwards that she was too scared to speak to me because of my spectacular cleavage!

I’m sure it looked much more modest when I tried the dress on in the shop.

So when I was invited recently to join a Facebook Group called ‘Naked at Weddings’, who was I to refuse a group of ladies sharing ‘naked’ wedding photos of themselves.

When I asked this modest, retiring bunch whether I could feature them for Brides Up North, the offers came flooding in from.

So here are some of my favourite nudey wedding photos (brides and bridesmaids) – oh what a fine set of décolletages! I have a feeling this might just be the tip of a very large iceberg…
