I’m waking up this morning on a high following yesterday’s Brides Up North Super Showcase in the North East! Oh what a circus, oh what a show! There was a lot of love in the air as over 100 exhibitors pulled together to make the event a fabulous success. Thank you to each and every one of you!
.
The final count is yet to be taken, but well over 300 brides and nearly 1,000 people turned out to browse, chat, book, taste, try and watch two fantastic professional fashion shows with dresses from some of the North East’s top boutiques. One of my exhibitors told me that it was the best show they had attended in seven years! Wow, that just floors me.
.
So what an amazing turnout! Thanks to all you lovely Brides Up North I ended the day with a glass of champagne and a happy heart (shortly after being interviewed by Sky TV!).

Then… to top of a thoroughly fabulous weekend for this wedding blogger – after VERY many thoroughly unfabulous weekends stuck behind a computer screen whilst all my friends and family were at play – I got a little email that put an even bigger smile on my face!

I really consider Brides Up North to be a wedding blog first and foremost, with the Wedding Directory being a neat little add on to help connect my readers to the best regional suppliers, but I work extremely hard to maintain the quality of both sides of the site, so it’s lovely to see the more business based side of Brides Up North getting some recognition!
