Happy Wednesday! It’s a beautiful day and we are over half way to the weekend!

If you need any more reasons to be cheerful, this vibrant and emotive Real Wedding in the North East should do the trick. Rachel and Brett’s colourful wedding day was sent to me by Jane at County Durham Wedding Photographer Stan Seaton Photography, who has kindly agreed to tell us a little more about the occasion too.

Jane says: Brett & Rachel’s wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful ballroom at The Morritt, Greta Bridge.

Rachel’s elaborate dress was designed by Dizzie Lizzie and supplied by Dobinsons, Grange Road, Darlington. Rachel carried a beautiful, natural looking, hand tied rose bouquet from Carl Banks.

Brett will never forget the moment in the ceremony when he was standing waiting for Rachel to walk through the door, and the whole of the guests had also turned to look back to see a very emotional Rachel make her entrance.

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the lovely landscaped gardens of The Morritt, before returning to the Ballroom to enjoy a three course meal and emotional and entertaining speeches from Rachel’s Dad, Brett and the two Best Men.

Rachel couldn’t believe what a lovely day they had, packed with emotion,fun and laughter. She particularly enjoyed the few minutes when her and Brett sneaked away from the crowds and were watching all the guests chatting and laughing in the gardens from an upstairs window.
