If you are a regular reader, it can’t have escaped your notice (I do harp on, don’t I?!) that the first ever Brides Up North Wedding Exclusive – in fact, the first ever wedding exhibition – at Sarah Beeny’s Rise Hall is taking place in East Yorkshire in a little over a week.

Rise Hall has been the subject of the TV show Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare, and after being granted it’s wedding license only a few months ago, the venue – managed by the fabulous Dine – is now open for business. If you would like to come along to see what all the fuss has been about – and scope out Rise Hall and our fabulous exhibitors for your own wedding day – then pop into this free event next Sunday 22nd April 2012 from 12pm until 4pm. A couple of weeks ago I joined a collective of very excited (and extremely talented) Yorkshire wedding industry suppliers as we turned Rise Hall upside down and inside out for a very special photo shoot. The results of their work will be showcased on the wedding blog over the next few days (but I can’t resist a quick sneak peek below), and Lovell Films were there to capture Rise on camera too. If you didn’t see Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare, and even if you did, this little video should give you an idea of what it’s now like at this beautiful venue – but trust me – you need to see it for yourself!
